Guidelines for Submitting Photographs to TAS

Please follow the guideline below when you submit photographs.

As previous, we ask that your images :

  • Do not exceed 4mb in size

  • Are in focus and have a level horizon and

  • Are renamed as per the following example: 20-03-24 Fred Bloggs A6-EEY

The rationale behind this request is that we collate every photograph that is submitted not only for the Facebook page but also for potential use in Winged Words, the TAS website and other Society publications. By submitting your images renamed with the date first this allows us to search by date of submission (and therefore aircraft arrival) which makes the task of collating the images so much easier for us as a team.

In addition, given that we are likely to see an increase in submissions as the weather improves and the days become longer, can we please ask that unless the image has an element of the unusual, submissions featuring our regular visitors are kept to a minimum. As we are sure everyone will appreciate, as attractive as some of our 'regulars' are, posting the same aircraft over several consecutive days from several different photographers does reduce the impact somewhat.

Please send your photos to:- tasmanchesterphotos@gmail.com

On behalf of the Team, a sincere thanks to all those of you who support our Facebook page etc by submitting your images as well as reading and commenting on our posts, please continue to do so and here's hoping for some great 'numbers' and a really good rest of the year.
